Educator Empowerment Center (EEC), LLC is a teacher owned and led educational consulting company dedicated to providing dynamic virtual and in-person professional development opportunities tailored to the needs of busy educators. In recognition of the demanding nature of their profession, we have developed a classroom-tested approach that offers quick, efficient, and targeted support.
Our focus is fourfold:
Building a Strong Educator Pipeline: We collaborate with teacher education programs to develop and support aspiring educators as they prepare for the classroom.
Strengthening Community-Based Education: We partner with Community Based Organizations (CBOs) to build capacity for effective educational programs and after-school activities. We offer a range of educational supports, including training in lesson planning, educator collaboration, and other essential skills, to empower CBO staff to create impactful learning experiences for students. Additionally, we provide specialized support to CBO directors to help them navigate the unique challenges of leading and managing educational initiatives within their communities.
Nurturing Early Career Teachers: We provide targeted support to new teachers (0-4 years experience) to help them thrive in their roles, ultimately improving teacher retention.
Developing Teacher Leaders: We invest in teacher leaders by equipping them with the tools and knowledge to drive instructional improvement and build capacity at the school and district levels. At EEC, LLC, we strongly believe that the power to bring about transformative changes in education lies in the hands of teacher leaders. Therefore, we emphasize nurturing aspiring and current teacher leaders through our programs and initiatives. We aim to equip them with the necessary knowledge, skills, and resources to drive impactful and sustainable change in their schools and communities.
Through dynamic virtual professional development, mentorship, and coaching, EEC empowers educators to become confident, effective, and innovative leaders in their schools and communities.
